Puk up'n Balken in Bergen auf Ruegen

We visited at the end of September. It didn't work without pre-order. We sat comfortably isolated and yet the service was always there to find out about our wellbeing. My dishes were delicious. There is even something for non-fish fans. The restaurant is also very lovingly decorated around it with a cute story on the memory card.

It's a quaint restaurant, which can only be recommended, but it's best to reserve in advance. Every time we are on Rügen, a detour is planned here. A guest from Saxony-Anhalt

Misleading. There is talk of a warm kitchen throughout. This is even stated on the outside of "chalkboards". If you come in, you will be kindly refused that the kitchen is closed. That's more than annoying. Time 3 p.m.

The food was very good, but the service? Im not speaking well germany but if waitress is going to another clients and make a laugh, because im not speaking well germany, Thats not good. I dont know from when asking for wifi is making people so angry like waitress in this restaurant. But still food was very nice

We were very disappointed this time. In June 2019, visiting the restaurant was an absolute pleasure and, above all, a pleasant experience. So that in 2019 we even stayed there twice in one week. However, yesterday was a very terrifying revival of our memories. A service that definitely played the friendliness and seemed rather snappy. Clearly did not think of Corona protective measures. Her mask hung more on her chin as it was covering something. In addition, other guests were not advised of the mask requirement and when we asked whether the tables next to were vacant because of the distance, one received the statement-let's see- Unfortunately then the food was just as disappointing. Lumpy fried potatoes, a schnitzel with strange herbs and spices (coriander?). Portions rather manageable. The menu fell apart in your hands, and as a good company you should notice that while cleaning the cards and sorting them out. So it was clear that there would probably be no card cleaning there as often. And it was a shame that the card stayed the same. Never change a running system? Has the management changed here? However, it is currently not recommended.

Underground unfriendly. If I could I would give zero points. According to the website it was open continuously, we were turned away at 2 p.m. when we asked for a place for 3 people. However, the restaurant was not full and there were still places available.

It is better to reserve a table. A quaint, beautiful place, family-friendly. We ate very tasty several times. The restaurant is a secret tip.

Great ambience, great atmosphere, nice, varied food / drink offer, price / performance okay, service friendly and courteous. Toilets acceptable. 1 star deduction for a very long waiting time after ordering, justified, on request, in unfortunate kitchen shifts. Clear recommendation for a visit !!

In principle a good restaurant. We had the schnitzel and were very satisfied. There is an XXL schnitzel on Wednesday for an extra charge. Unfortunately, I didn't get this, despite direct request ;-) It wasn't Wednesday! It was very busy so make reservations. Very advocating is the fact that it seems that many locals eat there. Something like that is always an indication of great quality.

According to the internet super rating ... we can only confirm. Get a table without a reservation (good luck) Service super nice, cozy atmosphere. No 08/15 menu. Food was served very imaginatively, even with coffee afterwards. Prices absolutely fair.

Very friendly and attentive service. The bread with lard and herb butter is highly recommended as a starter, followed by the schnitzel with homemade sauce and fried potatoes as the main course. Very tasty and tasty. The ambience absolutely worth seeing. Here you feel very comfortable as a guest. Everyone should see for themselves. TOP!

Service was very nice and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the waitress was a little overwhelmed with the increasing number of guests. So if you are on vacation and have time, you can dine very well there. However, if you are in transit (like us) you should plan enough time.

Definitely the best Chef cook in the city! I love everything about this place including hospitality of waitresses and design of the inner environment. All dishes were super good!

We came here after a long day of walking and it was the best decision we took!! A very cosy restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The people working here, are super friendly and very professional. We had 2 small beers a schnitzel and fish. Everything was super yummy . The salad fresh (the dressing wasn't the best but it is a small detail) and we have to admit that the Bratkartoffeln were very good made and not greasy at all! We totally recommend this place!

Very cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Have to wait a little longer for food. It was also quite full. But the wait was worth it. The food was hot, definitely adequate portions and very delicious. Wishes were also received. That was certainly not our last visit. We recommend!

Easy to recommend, because delicious and very nice service. Reasonable prices for good portions. Maybe it's better to reserve a table. Were on blue haze and therefore could only sit outside and unfortunately not enjoy the coziness of the restaurant

From the outside the restaurant looks really great. Also from the inside it is beautiful. The condition is very friendly and there is a great selection of food. The food just tastes first class, no matter if fish or meat. The portions are also large and rich, as you would expect. Even small changes to the food are possible. A clear recommendation! :)

Big portions and tasty food. Menu in german only but staff speaks english.

The food is alright (go for the pasta) but the atmosphere is really fun. Deducted a star because it is slightly too pricey.
